AMD Ryzen 8000 series APUs will come with 16 RDNA 3.5 GPU compute units, according to a new leak. This is not the first time this information has leaked about the upcoming next-gen processors, but it brings HWiNFO screenshots with all the information about the APUs. Dubbed the “Strix Point” lineup, the Ryzen 8000 series APUs are expected to be launched next year, but AMD has not shared any information regarding the specifications other than the RDNA 3.5 platform.
According to AMD’s socket roadmap, the AM5 desktop socket that houses Zen 4 Ryzen 7000 series CPUs will also work with Zen 5 Ryzen 8000 series chips. These processors are scheduled for next year to compete with Intel’s Arrow Lake and Lunar Lake series. There have also been several rumors and leaks regarding the Ryzen 8000 series. It is believed that the lineup will include 12 hybrid Zen 5 CPU cores, 16 RDNA 3.5 GPU cores, and two configurations.
